Letting be, and letting go

Buddhist teacher and Zen Hospice co-founder Frank Ostaseski recommends that we who care for the seriously ill "find a place of rest in the middle of things." So often, we imagine that rest and taking care of ourselves must involve lots of time -- time we usually feel we don't have. In that spirit, watch this short video meditation on "Letting Be" with Johnathan Foust and take a moment to rest in the middle of things.

For reflection alone or together:

How was this practice for you? What did you notice in your body, your thoughts, and your emotions?

What other practices help you find rest in the middle of things?
