The Meta-Skill of the 21st Century

Researcher and author Tasha Eurich asserts that self-awareness is the key skill for today’s world and workplace. She has found that 95% of people think they are self-aware, when in actuality only 10% are.

For reflection alone or together:

Eurich states: “Self-analysis can trap us in a mental hell of our own making.” Does this match your experience, how or how not?

Eurich also points to research highlighting that we are not necessarily that good at accurately assessing our own “why’s.” Is there a “why?” question you are asking that could be changed into a “what?”
