Early on during the COVID-19 pandemic, Palliative Medicine teams needed to be on the front line of patient care to treat patients, to communicate with families and to support their inpatient medical colleagues in the midst of personal and professional stressors. This webinar features members of a palliative care team covering 4 Catholic community hospitals in Richmond, Virginia that found that in collaborating with their Hospital leadership and Hospice team, they were able to help with unmet needs that were identified. They also partnered with their Atlantic Population Health department to assist with early advanced care planning.
