How to Take a Walk
When our days are stressful it can be hard to slow down our busy minds when our work day is over. Sometimes, even our attempts to slow down just seem to give our minds a chance to re-hash all of the events of the day. Engaging in a practice such as taking a walk while being fully present can be a way to reset our headspace and down regulate our nervous system. This short animated video from the Greater Good Science Center and Pixar’s Pete Docter “walks” us through one such practice.
