Dr. Mimi Pattison is the Regional Medical Director for CHI Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care, Tacoma, Washington.  She has been with CHI Franciscan Health for 30 years.

She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She has worked in Hospice and Palliative Care for the past 20 years and has been the physician leader for program development at CHI Franciscan Health.  The most recent development has been the Palliative Care Academy for practicing clinicians.  This intensive 2 day interactive course focuses on communication skills.

Dr. Pattison has a special interest in improving access to hospice and palliative care for persons with dementia.  She was appointed to the Washington State Alzheimer ’s Disease Working Group and is a current member of the Dementia Action Collaborative Advisory Group.
