COVID-19 created a rapid demand for serious illness communication skills across a range of settings. From advance care planning for high risk patients in outpatient clinics, to discussions about life sustaining treatments on the wards and in the ICU. To meet this need we quickly adapted our teaching material and our teaching methods to reach clinicians using virtual, interactive sessions. We hope you can learn from our successes and challenges in preparing interprofessional clinicians for COVID-19 related conversations.
